Integrated Stone Sink Lift

Controlled lifting and precise alignment for integrated stone sinks

The Integrated Stone Sink Lift from Safe Stone Handling provides a practical way to load, move, raise and align heavy stone sinks beneath a countertop. With a 400 lb capacity, it combines a wheeled scissor lift with a padded support frame, four independently adjustable corner supports and three lateral adjustment eyebolts.

Developed by an engineer with 30+ years of industry experience solving slab handling challenges.

Installation difficulty can add substantial labor and cost to integrated stone sinks. Supporting a heavy sink inside a confined cabinet while aligning its mitered edges is difficult without a suitable support structure. We developed this device to address that challenge: load the sink outside the cabinet, roll it into position and make controlled adjustments from below.

By simplifying handling and reducing the need for improvised installation supports, the system is designed to help fabricators reduce installation effort and cost, with the potential to make integrated stone sinks more affordable for their customers. It extends Safe Stone Handling’s focus on protecting people and stone throughout the handling and installation process.

🔩 Safety Features & Advantages

✅ 400 lb capacity for lifting and positioning stone sinks.

✅ Loading outside the cabinet provides easier access around the sink.

✅ Mechanical support reduces the need to hold a heavy sink manually during alignment.

✅ Four screw-adjustable roller-ball supports independently level each corner.

✅ Roller balls allow the upper frame and sink to move horizontally in all directions.

✅ Three lateral eyebolts fine-tune left-right and front-back positioning.

✅ Padded contact surfaces help protect the stone during positioning.

✅ Reusable lifting device is lowered and removed after the sink is independently secured.

How to use the Integrated Stone Sink Lift

1 Position Loading Box

Position a sturdy wooden loading box directly in front of the open cabinet. Its top must be flush with the cabinet’s inside floor, providing a level transition for the wheels. The illustrated installation uses a 4½-inch-high platform.

2 Place Lift on Box

Place the empty lifting device directly onto the wooden box, with all four wheels fully supported. Lower the frame and align the device with the cabinet opening. Allow sufficient clearance for the loaded sink to pass beneath the countertop.

3 Load Stone Sink

Using suitable lifting assistance, place the sink centrally on the padded support frame. Loading outside the cabinet gives installers access around the sink and avoids having to place it on the lift within the confined cabinet interior.

4 Roll Into Cabinet

Carefully roll the loaded device from the wooden box into the cabinet across the flush transition. Keep the sink lowered and clear of the countertop and cabinet sides while moving it into position beneath the opening.

5 Raise Level and Align

Raise the sink toward the countertop using the scissor lift. Adjust the four vertical corner screws to match the countertop’s level. The roller balls support horizontal movement; use the three lateral eyebolts to fine-tune left-right and front-back alignment. Bring the matching 45-degree mitered edges together with controlled upward movement.

6 Installation Complete

Once the sink is independently secured, lower the support frame and roll the empty lift back onto the wooden box for removal. The completed sink remains installed beneath the countertop. The illustration shows its approximately 9-inch-deep body extending into the cabinet.
