EZ Installation System

EZ Installation Cart + EZ Installation Cart Loader - an integrated system for moving large countertop islands from trailer to final placement

Controlled Transport

The EZ Installation System combines the EZ Installation Cart and the EZ Installation Cart Loader into one purpose-built handling system for stone fabrication facilities and installation crews. The Loader is designed exclusively to work with the EZ Installation Cart; it is not intended for use with other carts.

Developed by an engineer with 30+ years of industry experience solving slab handling challenges.

The Loader transfers large countertop islands from a 7-ft Hercules Transfer Rack on a utility trailer directly onto the EZ Installation Cart without manual lifting during the transfer. The Cart then moves the island into the installation area and uses synchronized mechanical height adjustment and a controlled atmospheric-air tilt system to lower the countertop from vertical to horizontal for final placement onto the cabinets.

🔩 Safety Features & Advantages

No batteries, electricity, hydraulics or compressor are required for operation.

Integrated Loader-and-Cart system reduces manual lifting from trailer transfer through final countertop placement.

EZ Installation Cart handles large countertops and islands weighing up to 1,100 lb.

EZ Installation Cart Loader is designed exclusively for use with the EZ Installation Cart.

Two synchronized 7,000 lb mechanical jacks provide controlled height adjustment from 33 to 42 inches.

Atmospheric-air pneumatic cylinder controls the Cart's vertical-to-horizontal descent.

Operator-controlled air valve provides a controlled, gentle final landing onto the cabinets.

Collapsible loading brackets support versatile 360-degree installation access.

Heavy-duty roller bearings help maneuver and position the countertop.

Knee-operated release allows the Cart table to be released from the locked vertical transport position.

Rubber frame bumpers help protect door frames and finished surfaces during movement through the jobsite.

Locking wheels and brakes provide stability during positioning and installation.

Loader uses a simple roller-assisted mechanical transfer from the trailer rack to the Cart.

Reduces dependence on additional manpower for oversized island installations.

Helps reduce unnecessary handling and the risk of damage to expensive countertop pieces.

Designed and manufactured in the USA.

This system is not strapless. Conventional straps or approved tie-downs are required for transport applications.

How to use the EZ System

1.       At the fabrication shop, mount the EZ Installation Cart Loader to the 7-ft Hercules Transfer Rack and use a forklift to place the countertop island onto the Loader.

2.       Secure the island and Loader for transportation in accordance with the required transport procedure.

3.       At the jobsite, position the EZ Installation Cart directly alongside and aligned with the trailer-mounted Loader.

4.       Transfer the island across the Loader's roller system toward the Cart until the Cart loading supports are positioned underneath the countertop.

5.       Raise the Cart using the synchronized mechanical jacks until it assumes the countertop load from the Loader.

6.     Secure the countertop on the Cart, separate the Cart from the Loader, and roll the island down the trailer ramp and into the installation area.

7.     Position the Cart alongside the cabinets and adjust the Cart height to the required cabinet elevation.

8. With the countertop in the vertical position, close the air-control valve and release the tilting table. As the table descends, trapped atmospheric air in the pneumatic cylinder builds resistance and controls the downward movement.

9.      Gradually open the air-control valve to release the trapped air at a controlled rate and continue lowering the countertop.

10.      Guide the final movement for a controlled, gentle landing onto the cabinets, ready for final positioning and installation.
