The Attachment Kit with RockLock™ upgrades suitable customer-owned A-frames with the patented RockLock slab stabilization system without requiring replacement of the existing racks.

Developed by an engineer with 30+ years of industry experience solving slab handling challenges.

The kit uses heavy-duty horizontal tubes and adjustable sliding mounting plates that bolt to the customer's A-frames. The final operating principle is essentially the same as the Weld-On system; the difference is that the customer retains and upgrades existing A-frames rather than purchasing new SSH A-frames.

This system is not strapless. Conventional straps or approved tie-downs are required for transport applications.


How to use the Attachment Kit with RockLock

1.       Position your existing A-frames at the spacing required for the slab length being handled.


2.       Position the horizontal tube and sliding-plate assembly through and between the existing A-frames.


3.       Position two sliding plates on each side of each A-Frame and set the two A-Frames at the desired width apart.


4.       Raise the connecting bars with the sliding plates upwards to desired height and tighten the bolts.


5.       Bolt the mounting plates securely to the existing A-frames; no welding is required.


6.       Position the RockLock™ mechanism along the horizontal tubes to suit the slab length.


7.       During loading use RAISE → LOAD → LOWER → SECURE. During unloading use RAISE → REMOVE → LOWER → SECURE.
